Asset Management

The DiMaS Assets system is a TechnoLogica product developed for the management of the fixed assets of the organization. The application automates the acquisition (ordering, purchasing, delivery, stocking), movement (transfer, disposal, allocation) and handling (repair, service, assembly) of equipment, materials, goods, spare parts, consumables, etc.

DiMaS Assets is developed with Oracle technologies and the product architecture is built in two layers:
  • system layer: the DiMaS system component;
  • application layer: the business logic and the user interface of the end product, which are developed with the participation of expert consultants.
This model provides easier customization to diverse business requirements and reduces the time for the development of specialized solutions.

The DiMaS Assets functionality includes:

1. Supplier management – evaluation and selection of suppliers.

2. Movement of fixed assets inside and outside the organization:
  • Transactions and documentation for purchasing, delivery, distribution, capitalization;
  • Write-off, registration and disposition of assets;
  • Sales.

3. Asset information
  • Location, property custodian;
  • Asset condition, movement chronology, history file;
  • Supplier, warranty;
  • Maintenance of asset identifiers - inventory number, barcode, serial number, etc., with an option for user-defined identifiers;
  • System monitoring for predefined asset related events and generation of user alerts (expiring warranty, approaching expiration date, etc.);
  • Assembly of configurations, including computer systems;
  • Tracking of software licenses – free and used licenses by workplaces and computers.
4. Reports
  • “Inventory ledger”, accounting and tax depreciation plan by period, tax deductions, reports on written-off assets;
  • Reports on the distribution of assets by locations and employees;
  • Reports on the property custodians. Individual custodian files; 
  • User access control to individual system functions.
5. Natural integration with the HeRMeS® Human Resource Management System 
Generation of reports on inventory availability or demand based on HeRMeS® information and generation of purchase orders.
